Formscan By Tom Weekes - BEAR ON THE RUN scored readily at today’s course last month and should have the pace for this shorter distance. A half-sister to Group 3-winning speedster Dun Na Sead, she ran well in a useful maiden on debut, when finishing ahead of weight-conceding Killourney Reigns. The selection then showed improvement to score readily here last month and appears to be quite progressive. First Approach has useful form at this distance but concedes weight while By The Lake was well held in a valuable sales race last weekend but had previously won her maiden at this distance.
