The five-year-old has undergone a wind operation since disappointing in a NH Flat race at Sandown, but his debut second to a subsequent Listed winner at Chepstow is strong form and he can make a winning start over timber. Bumper winner Maldini Milano is another to note on his hurdling bow and rates a bigger danger than General Briar.
