Formscan By Michael Graham - ALABAMA sets a high standard with an official rating of 99. Aidan O'Brien's charge has been mixing in good company and has a pair of runner-up finishes in Listed class to call upon. The progeny of his sire, No Nay Never, have a decent record on all-weather surfaces so the Polytrack shouldn't be an issue. Vanity Pays showed an aptitude for this surface when pipped by a head on debut at Dundalk in April. She has been competitive since then behind some useful sorts so is well in the mix. Emerald Banner was a solid second in her last couple of outings at Navan and Naas and should be a factor. Expensive-purchase Jakku was unplaced on debut at Naas, however, that was in a Group 3 so she is clearly well thought of. She should be much closer here.
