The No Nay Never colt reportedly got upset in the stalls before finishing fifth at Leopardstown last month. He had beaten one of today's rivals, Monasterboice, in a Limerick maiden previously and that rival has won twice since. Il Pellegrino gets weight from Noel Meade's runner now. Monasterboice won his maiden over course and distance and should be a big player again. Top-weight Democracy is tried in cheekpieces now and is another to add to the shortlist, as he has been knocking on the door recently.
