Formscan By Gary Carson - YAMAL may be worth siding with here on his handicap debut. The Dark Angel had two good runs on his first couple of outings in strong maidens and although it was a slightly disappointing effort last time at Leopardstown he was far from disgraced when sixth behind Green Impact. Judged on his first two runs he could be nicely treated off 80. King Thistle ran better than his finishing position suggests when mid-division on his handicap debut at Galway, having had to overcome traffic problems. He could give young Patrick McGettigan a good spin here. Shocker wasn't beaten far when fourth in a Bellewstown maiden last time and is another for the shortlist.
