Formscan By Donal Murphy - SMILING ELIZA is the one to beat here. The daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar is one of the few horses in the line-up with experience over flights. She finished second on her hurdling debut at Roscommon earlier this month, and again filled the runner-up spot on her latest try at Killarney. Gordon Elliott trains the selection and is also represented by Viscount Wilson. Bought from a claimer at Fairyhouse, the Lethal Force gelding has his first start over flights now, and he can be expected to give a good account of himself with Davy Russell booked to ride. Gavin Cromwell saddles Mom Said, and hurdling debutants Amadeus (bought for 9,000 guineas), and Lever Du Soleil (bought for 18,000 guineas). It'll be interesting to see how these three fare, with the Noel Meade trained Union Gap, and Joseph O'Brien's Far Reach others for the shortlist.
