Formscan By Donal Murphy - OPTICAL CONFUSION is the one I'll side with in this weak contest. Successful in a bumper at Killarney last summer, the son of Windsor Knot has since gained plenty of experience over flights. His latest effort at Galway was particularly good, finishing sixth of nineteen in a strong contest at the Galway Festival. He should find things a lot easier here, and can be expected to go close with David Mullins in the saddle. The 116 rated Anytime Now sets the standard, but he was disappointing on his last start at Perth, and it might be worth taking him on. Colwinston has some useful efforts to his name, and has definite each-way claims, while others for the shortlist are Triangle Rock, and the former Willie Mullins trained West Burma who was placed in two bumpers.
