Formscan By Donal Murphy - PEREGRINE RUN, who is a Grade 2 winner over flights, might be able to quickly follow-up on his Killarney success here. A winner over fences at the Co Kerry venue on Saturday, the son of King's Theatre reverts to hurdles now. His last effort over the smaller obstacles came in March of 2017, where he finished eleventh of twenty-five to Supasundae in the Coral Cup at the Cheltenham Festival, and form such as that looks good enough to win a race of this standard. Woodland Opera is given second preference. The likeable Jessica Harrington trained eight-year-old bounced back to form when winning at Kilbeggan earlier this month, and he can be expected to go close here with Robbie Power in the saddle. The 129 rated Canardier is an interesting contender with Barry Geraghty booked to ride, while others for the shortlist here are De Plotting Shed (first time blinkers), and dual Grade 1 winner Road To Riches.
