Formscan By Tom Weekes - Gordon Elliott has won the last six renewals and his THEFLYINGKING has strong claims. Out of a half-sister to a Cork Grand National-winner, the selection scored on his point-to-point debut in April 2024 before showing nice ability last season. Defeated by two capable types in his initial two bumpers, he defeated a useful runner-up to score at Wexford in March and should benefit from stepping back up in trip. Some Song won well on his Ballysteen point-to-point debut last April and while he will be ready for his reappearance, faces a tougher task here. Kazansky, his yard’s apparent second string, was a 42,000 pounds purchase following his April pointing success.
