Formscan  - Pol Roger has been knocking on the door at this level in recent months and another prominent showing is forecast from Michael Dods' charge. However, a 2lb higher mark will only make life more difficult for the son of Churchill and the lightly-raced AVIEMORE looks open to more improvement. The three-year-old opened his account over C&D in mid-July and a 5lb rise is unlikely to be the ceiling of his ability. Fellow in-form rival Faylaq also enters the reckoning.
