Formscan By John O'Riordan - A beaten odds-on favourite at Limerick last month, the Johnny Murtagh-trained SHAOOL can recover losses. Runner-up on her previous start at Dundalk, the daughter of Belardo was expected to step up a place further. However, after holding every chance over a furlong out, the four-year-old weakened close home. Given that run came on testing ground, she may just appreciate a sounder surface. A four-time winner under NH Rules, the Ted Walsh-trained Gaoth Chuil merits respect on what is only her second start on the Flat. It would be no surprise to see the seven-year-old take a hand in the finish. Ina Mina, a 12-race maiden, will surely get her turn at some stage.
