Formscan By Tom Weekes - ASHDALE BOB won a course beginners chase last July before scoring at the Galway festival and now returns following a break. Once a high-class staying hurdler and a runner-up in three Grade 1s, he was well held when last seen in a Kempton Grade 2 chase in February but has been freshened up since and drops in grade today. Marv Michael is a dual course-and-distance winner who returned from a 202-day winter break to win here last month. He has been raised 11lb following his easy recent success although today’s rider claims 7lb. Stablemate Le Coq Hardi was Listed-placed over hurdles last July and while well held at Ballinrobe last month, contests his first handicap chase.
