The Shantou gelding chased home the impressive Journey With Me in a hot contest at Leopardstown over Christmas, when he had Kilcruit behind in third. The dual bumper, and point-to-point, winner should have no problem stepping up in trip now. Eye Van has some solid placed form and ran well to finish fourth to Eric Bloodaxe in Grade 2 company at Limerick last time. He is entitled to play a big part if repeating that performance. Dublin Calling was well fancied on his 'track' debut but was slightly disappointing when fading to finish sixth to Hi Ho Phoenix at Fairyhouse last month. There may be better to come from him.
