Formscan  - An intriguing contest for a maiden hurdle sees Corporal Jackjones make his debut over obstacles after winning his two bumpers this season, the latest on his first start for Syd Hosie, and there could be more to come. He can go well but he was in the care of Nigel Twiston-Davies, who runs MR MACKAY here and ought to know exactly where he stands with that aforementioned rival. Without a win from four bumper outings, the latter may find hurdles more to his liking and could surprise them all for his shrewd yard. Rock House and Alright Dai seem the likeliest to follow them home.
