Formscan By Gary Carson - CAPTAIN CONBY could be on a nice mark here. Dusty Sheehy thinks a lot of the Conduit gelding and feels he could be a graded horse in the making. He only got home by half a length in a bunch finish at Punchestown last month but that was his hurdling debut and he was reportedly short of full fitness so improvement should be forthcoming. Robinstown bumped into a well handicapped sort in Futurum Regem at Navan last month but it was a decent run to finish second best that day and off just 3lb higher he could be the danger now. Neveradullmoment has hinted at ability in three maiden hurdle starts and looks one to note in the market on his handicap debut.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (116 = 11st 12lbs)Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 12lbs and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbsPenalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.Riders - 1. Lady Riders who hold a Permit to ride in hurdle races against Professional Riders issued by any other Recognised Turf Authority. The Stewards of the I.N.H.S. Committee have suspended the relevant parts of Rule 135 for the purposes of this race.
