Going - NH - Good Flat - Yielding. Overcast and showery

Formscan By Stuart Howden - This maiden was won last year by none other than subsequent French Derby and Coral-Eclipse winner Constitution River, and the vote is given to the Joseph O'Brien-trained ONE NUMBER (5). He began his career finishing second to Group 2 Railway Stakes winner Celebron before finishing down the field at Ascot, but his latest start over a mile at Naas was much more like it and, back in calmer waters, the son of Jack Christopher should be able to continue the fine form of trainer Joseph O'Brien. Trean flashed home on debut, going past most of his rivals, but disappointed on his latest start at the Curragh. However, if returning to his debut form, he should be competitive for the Paddy Twomey team. Johnny Murtagh's Yellow Sky kept on well at the Curragh on his debut, and that experience will bring further improvement. He can run well and has each-way claims.
