Formscan By Michael Graham - DEPALMA might be the answer to a weak race. Colm Murphy's charge has finished fourth in her last couple of races at Kilbeggan and Galway which reads well in the context of this race. She wasn't beaten overly far in Kilbeggan and faced a tough task in Ballybrit. Stoneyford Lady is the horse that could be the big improver. She is a well-bred filly who is half-sister to a Grade 1 Queen Mother Champion Chase winner. She disappointed in her last couple of runs and has been off since May, but is in good hands. One Big Boum has put together a sequence of fourth places and his mark of 107 sets the standard.
