Formscan - APOTHEOSIS is penalised for winning a novice race over today's distance at Haydock, but that form looks stronger in hindsight given the runner-up went on to land a handicap, and the Night Of Thunder gelding may prove difficult to beat. Nothing went right for Upscale at Chester last time and she is better judged on her second at Haydock in June, while Faro Di Notte posted a decent effort when third at Salisbury on her return from a short break and Marcus Tregoning's filly is preferred to Granger Bay of the rest.
