Formscan By John O'Riordan - The Paddy Twomey-trained CURRAWOOD should be progressive enough to cope with this rise in class. Runner-up in two maidens at this track last season, he opened his account at Dundalk towards the end of March. Back on grass last time, the son of Acclamation easily disposed of some smart previous winners to land a competitive contest at Cork. He certainly deserves to take his chance in Listed company here and should hold every chance of completing the hat-trick. Third in the Gladness Stakes at this venue on his return, the Aidan O'Brien-trained Officer should be all the better for that outing. With only the two career starts, the colt is open to improvement. Alakazi is also worthy of serious consideration.
