Formscan  - Charlie Appleby boasts an excellent 38 per cent strike-rate (17-45) when sending runners to Pontefract and, with that in mind, preference is for DOUBLE MEANING, who hinted at promise over 1m on debut at Newmarket. A step up in trip should suit the son of Farhh and it would come as no surprise were he to find the necessary improvement. Ralph Beckett keeps churning out the winners and Haydock runner-up Sir Dinadan merits the utmost respect. Way Of Stars is most appealing of the remainder.
