Formscan By Mark Nunan - Useful on the Flat and over hurdles, NA CAITH TOBAC jumped soundly when making a winning debut over fences in a beginners’ chase over course and distance last month. It wasn’t the strongest of contests but neither is this and Paul Flynn’s charge may be able follow up if he can jump as fluently on this occasion. Ask Charlie, who is fitted with a tongue-tie for this handicap debut, is a point-to-point winner and was running well in a hunters’ chase here in March when coming down three out. He ran well in a decent beginners’ chase at Limerick last time and now has the assistance of the Irish Grand National-winning jockey. Dual hurdles winner Arthur’s Baby represents a year with a great record at this venue and she ran well on her second start over fences at Kilbeggan. She is another who could be on a nice mark over fences.
