Formscan By Gary Carson - In the absence of stable companion and last year's Arc third Los Angeles, the unbeaten JAN BRUEGHEL has been presented with a golden opportunity on his return to action. The son of Galileo progressed with each start of his three-year-old campaign which culminated with defeat of another high-class stable companion in the St Leger. Crystal Black won five on the bounce, including at Royal Ascot and in Group 3 company at Leopardstown, and commands plenty of respect, while Tower Of London, who is better over further, and Crypto Force head the remainder.

Quotes on Los Angeles (IRE)
We were delighted with him in Epsom and we thought he would come forward. Obviously he did go forward in Epsom and learned plenty, we were hoping that would be the case so he could come back here. Ryan gave him a great ride. It was a solid even pace and it's an unbelievable track. It's great to have this race at this time of the year so all those horses can come together and you get to find out what's there. He's a big hardy horse. He looks like he was a baby but he is a Group 1 winner at two as well. He is progressing, definitely, and we're really looking forward to him. Obviously he's by Camelot so he has that class, so he can quicken. Ryan said he had a lot more class than he expected and he quickened very well when he got there. We came here thinking that he was going to turn into a Leger horse but Ryan said he has way more class than that. After Los Angeles (IRE) finished 1st at Curragh on Sun, 30th Jun 2024 1m 4f Flat Good

Quotes on Tower Of London (IRE)
We're delighted he won but we didn't learn a lot as it was a very slow pace,. We know that he can quicken, he did that as a two-year-old. There are a couple of races in Ascot, he could go either a mile-and-a-quarter or a mile-and-a-half. He might be a horse that likes to take his time and not be produced until late, Ryan gave him a perfect ride because they were going so slow he had to go. He ran bad in the Derby trial and that was probably the ground and he was a bit keen behind Auguste Rodin here last year. Looking at him he's probably a mile-and-a-quarter plus horse who wants plenty of pace on in front of him and to take your time. I'd say that's him. After Tower Of London (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Thu, 8th Jun 2023 1m 4f Flat Good

Quotes on Crystal Black (IRE)
There is a bit of interest from Australia in him and there are negotiations going on that he might go for the Melbourne Cup. The lads want to hold onto half of him but we’ll know more in the next few days. If he was in the first three today that deal was on the table. It’s a kind of a fairytale really. He just keeps improving and improving. He had issues when we got him first with allergies and this year has just been amazing. You are always afraid that you are one run away from going over the top. After Crystal Black (IRE) finished 1st at Leopardstown on Thu, 8th Aug 2024 1m 4f Flat Good

Quotes on Galen (GB)
Galen was impressive and he stretched right out to the line. They went a good even gallop and he picked up. Dylan was very happy with him, said he was still babyish in front and said that he will be better in a better race with a lead. He looked pretty good. His debut run has turned out to be a very good run and he is now going the right way. His win at the Curragh the last day was on slower ground but Dylan thinks he loves the quick ground so going forward that will be key for him. A mile seems to be suiting him for now. After Galen (GB) finished 1st at Killarney on Mon, 15th Jul 2024 1m Flat Good to Firm
