Formscan By Donal Murphy - A chance is taken on KATYS GIRL who makes her debut for Gillian Callaghan. The 7yo daughter of Pyrus was previously trained by Oliver Brady and she ran well on numerous occasions for him but won just once, that coming at Kilbeggan last August. Her new trainer does well with her small string of horses and it will come as no surprise if she manages to get a win or two out of this one. Rockyaboya and Torn Asunder looks the obvious two for Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott respectively. Neither are stable stars but they have shown a level of form that is capable of winning a race of this quality and they both should go close. Alasty is another one who is worth a mention. He caught my eye at Cork on his penultimate start when staying on well and he put in another good effort last time out at Punchestown. If he was stepping up in trip I would really fancy him, but he should still give a good account of himself with Barry Cash aboard.
