Formscan  - ANGLERS CRAG landed this race for Brian Ellison in 2024 and after making a successful debut for the Nicky Richards team when going in by nine lengths at Carlisle, he gets the vote, even though no 11-year-old has won this since 2016. Knockanore ran out a comprehensive winner 12 months ago, although he hasn't bothered the judge in six races since. Fortunate Man is another to consider stepping up to this extreme distance for the first time.
