Formscan By John O'Riordan - GERYON, who had a trio of these behind when making a winning debut here in August, can land this for trainer Ger Lyons. Despite being sent off a big price on that occasion, the Lope De Vega colt showed it was no fluke when subsequently finishing runner-up in the Futurity Stakes. Entitled to be all the better for that experience, there is no obvious reason why he shouldn't confirm the form of his debut run now. Sent off favourite for that aforementioned maiden, the Joseph O'Brien-trained Al Haarith could only finish fourth. However, he shaped with plenty of promise, giving the impression that there was better to come. Hawk Mountain looks best of the remainder.
