Formscan By Alan Magee - REDSTONE made a successful debut under Rules in a maiden here over two miles that has generally worked out well since. The five-year-old gelding, who held every chance when falling at the last on his only point start, should be suited by this extra half-mile. Release The Beast won with plenty in hand on debut at Galway but on a line through the third, Makaela’s Choice, may struggle to beat the selection off level weights. Waterford Whispers also won a Galway maiden and is another with plenty of scope for improvement, while Western Fold galloped on strongly to win a Gowran maiden on heavy ground and should be suited by the step up in trip. Answer To Kayf showed much improved form when winning a Limerick maiden last time on testing ground while Any Road also won on heavy at Clonmel last month.
