Formscan By Tom Weekes - HAWK MOUNTAIN is from a top Coolmore family and while he needs to improve from debut, his trainer has won eight of the last 15 renewals of this race. By Wootton Bassett and out of a Group 1 winner, the selection was well held in a smart maiden here 21 days ago but finished nicely and should benefit from today’s extra furlong. Ballydoyle’s star mare Found won this race as a second-string in 2014 and while today’s second-pick Port Of Spain finished just a half-length behind the selection on their respective August 9-debuts, might struggle to win. Perisher was beaten by a more experienced Ballydoyle-trained runner on Galway debut and should benefit from the experience.
