Having won the Badger Beer Handicap Chase on his reappearance, the gelding has run better than the bare form suggests on three subsequent starts. Best going right-handed, the UK raider has plenty in his favour here. Runner-up in this race 12 months ago, Ballykeel is back for another crack under champion conditional jockey Danny Gilligan. Kept fresh for this assignment, it would be no surprise to see a big performance from the Gordon Elliott-trained gelding. Given the firepower available to Willie Mullins, his representative Glengouly has to be respected.
