A fine third when last seen at the Punchestown Festival, he had no less than seven previous winners behind, and a reproduction of that effort should see him hard to beat. Placed and beaten by smart types on her first two outings at Ballinrobe, Gers Gigi made the breakthrough at Downpatrick last month and appears the main danger with Harry Swan aboard. Jackson Lamb also got off the mark at Downpatrick and while he was a decisive winner, it wasn't a strong race.
