A solid fifth of 23 in a stronger contest than this at Leopardstown over Christmas, he since filled the runner-up spot when sent off favourite at Kilbeggan. Upped in trip now, it'll be disappointing if the 102-rated five-year-old isn't involved towards the business end in a contest of this quality. The winner of this very race in 2022 and third 12-months ago, Inforapenny is a definite danger. Placed on two of his last three starts, another bold bid can be expected from the Mark Fahey-trained seven-year-old. Handicap debutant Burru has some eye-catching bits of form to his name and could come alive in the market with Philip Byrnes an interesting jockey booking. Others of note are Downpatrick winner Kalsman and recent Sligo runner-up Hypersonic Missile.
