Formscan By Alan Magee - SARATOGA is a useful staying handicapper on the Flat and beat Kilmeaden by nearly two lengths at Listowel. The Padraig Roche-trained gelding has been placed on both outings over hurdles and didn’t enjoy the clearest of passages when a promising third over course and distance last month. Highland Crystal is an obvious threat having scored in fine style on both hurdle starts including a Listed race at Newbury, while Kilmeaden provided Donnacha O’Brien with his first jumps winner at Punchestown last month. Munsif holds Genealogy on running behind Hardy Stuff at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting.
