He won a point-to-point for John Nallen in February of 2020 and was subsequently sold for 100,000 pounds. Having got off the mark over flights at Tramore on New Year's Day, he was pitched in at Grade 3 level on his next start at Navan, falling at the second last when still in front. Salt Wind also has a point-to-point win to his name and the chestnut gelding is given second preference. A consistent sort, he made the breakthrough over flights here in April. Western Run was travelling best when falling three out at Gowran on Saturday and it'll come as no surprise if the Gavin Cromwell trained six-year-old manages to make amends now. The ten-year-old Wakea starts off over fences and is capable of making his presence felt. Gevrey is another who should give a good account of himself, while Russian Diamond, Port Stanley and Heroes Of Renown all have a bit to prove.
