Formscan By Alan Magee - REAL EMPIRE attracted some support on his second run back after a winter break at Naas earlier this month and, having met some interference, kept on in the straight to finish a creditable seventh behind Party President. The Shark Hanlon-trained gelding was placed a couple of times in bumpers last year and gets the vote over Bayou Belle who had plenty of placed form last year but remains a maiden after 34 starts under both codes. Mount Frisco reverts to hurdles after a couple of disappointing efforts over fences, while any market move for Mickey Cohen would be interesting.
