The top-weight has struck four times since and good ground may be a plus as he attempts to retain his crown. Dripsey Moon has not been outside the first two since joining the Donald McCain yard and is a big danger. Runner-up over 3m2f at Newton Abbot on his penultimate start, Hauraki Gulf is another who gives the impression he may relish this extreme test.
