The Sioux Nation filly powered home under a hand ride to dead-heat for a close second and would have been up in another couple of strides. That promising effort came against colts and the extra furlong here looks sure to suit. Lan Ghaire has been beaten no more than a length on both starts and is likely to adopt a prominent position. All five newcomers, including 950,000 guineas yearling Snowing, hold entries in a Group 2 over course and distance next month, so this has the makings of a hot contest. %0A
