Formscan By Tom Weekes - It is a concern to see Ballydoyle's first-string TUNBRIDGE WELLS wearing first-time cheekpieces but he has smart form and is a brother to top juvenile Blackbeard. He showed promise on debut and having won nicely here 25 days ago, the runner-up subsequently finished second in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. Arizona Blaze was himself placed at Royal Ascot, finishing third in the Norfolk Stakes and had previously won the Marble Hill Stakes over today's course-and-distance. He is vulnerable to a high-class rivals but is nonetheless consistent and very able. Principality was beaten by a previous winner on his debut and won well at Goodwood, from which the third-horse won subsequently but steps up in grade here.
