Formscan By Tom Weekes - STURLASSON'S initial juvenile form was quite smart and while he subsequently dropped below that level, has returned to his best in recent runs and finished second in Epsom's three-years-old-only 'Dash' earlier this month. He easily won a maiden last month and at Epsom, met trouble in-running before finishing well behind the winner, which himself subsequently finished second in the Palace Of Holyrood House Stakes at Royal Ascot. Lethal Nymph's rating had fallen in recent times and while well held in the open 'Dash' at Epsom, ran well in a big-field handicap at Thirsk recently and should compete from his revised rating. Kendall Roy is a thoroughly progressive three-year-old and won over today's course-and-distance recently but now competes from 6lb higher.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards that have run three or more times under any Rules of Racing up to and including 17th June, 2024, at least one of those runs having been on or after 1st May, 2023 (105 = 10st)Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
