The form of that latter success has worked out quite well and he can take a further step up the ladder at the expense of Gaucher. The Frankel gelding doesn’t help himself by racing keenly and has had his limitations exposed since winning easily at Punchestown, while stablemate Chart Topper was a wide-margin winner on his hurdle debut at Downpatrick. Sunchart was the pick of these on the Flat winning a Listed race at Naas this spring and opened his account at the second attempt over hurdles at Wexford last time.
