Formscan By Gary Carson - It looks hard to oppose ALLAHO as he bids to repeat a brilliant performance in this race last year. The No Risk At All gelding looked a touch ring-rusty on his return this season, in the John Durkan Chase, but still got the job done and really sparkled when scoring at Thurles in January. This intermediate trip looks ideal and he can put another another show. Conflated comes here instead of the Gold Cup and while he is a good horse on his day he may not have the same gears as Allaho. He was quietly fancied despite being a big price in the Irish Gold Cup last month and ran out a convincing winner. He certainly wasn't stopping at the line that day and despite having won a few times over this trip he may be better suited at this level by further. Melon pulled up in this last year but has been runner-up four times at the festival and could be a place bet in this.
