Formscan By Gary Carson - SIRE DU BERLAIS won this two years ago of a mark of 152 and taking weight off his back here with Rob James in the saddle should leave him in with a big shout. The admirable ten-year-old follows the same path having also finished fourth at Warwick before his victory here in 2020. Down near the bottom of the handicap Born Patriot may be one that could run well at a nice price. Peter Fahey's charge was a good second here in a qualifying race in October and had a bit of a break after that. He may have come on from his run at Sandown last month. Kansas City Chief won that aforementioned race here in October and has been very consistent since. He is another to consider but may be on a high enough mark now.
