Formscan By Tom Weekes - DEATH DUTY could be unsuited by stepping down to this trip but should still prove good enough to win, being a top class novice prospect. A Grade 1 hurdles winner over 2m4f last season, he made a fine winning debut at Tipperary and while he ultimately almost scrambled home to win, would have won impressively were he not heavily eased down to pop the final fence. He can take this on his way to better things and should benefit from his Tipperary run. Woodland Opera is himself a smart type and while he lacks the class the selection possesses, is a second-season chaser who will be suited by trip and ground conditions. Four year old Tout Est Permis won well on chase debut at Gowran last month but this is a big step up in class while Three Wise Men is a capable type but needs to improve to win. A Rated gives away weight and might also struggle to win.
