Formscan By Donal Murphy - The winner of a point-to-point and bumper, St Lawrence's Gap sets the standard off a mark of 117. However, he has failed to justify favouritism in two of his last three starts and it might be worth taking him on. Easy to back when slipping up on his return from a lengthy absence at Punchestown, Did I Ask You That doesn't make the greatest of appeal, while American Jukebox (first time cheekpieces) will need to improve on his most recent effort if he is to feature. For a selection POOKIE HOLLER gets the nod. Returning from a near year long absence, he ran a solid race to finish fourth at Punchestown before Christmas and if he can step forward from that comeback effort, he might be good enough to win a race of this quality.
