Formscan By Donal Murphy - After numerous good efforts in defeat, COWPER HALL emphatically made the breakthrough at Punchestown before Christmas. In what looked a competitive 18-runner heat, the Darren Cahill-owned bay came in for strong market support and ultimately eased to a 13-length win. Now starting off over fences, he could prove hard to beat with Eoin Staples claiming a valuable 7lb. A four-time winner in the UK, it'll be interesting to see how Blue Hop fares on his debut for Henry de Bromhead, while others of interest here are John Ryan's Eye Of A Tiger, Navan third Rockbrook and dual winner Cappucino. Twice successful when in the care of Willie Mullins and third when last seen at Clonmel, Femme Magnifique is another capable of making an impact.
