Formscan By Stuart Howden - General Clermont built on his reappearance fourth in a handicap hurdle at Naas last month when finishing a respectable second over 2m6f in a beginners chase at Tramore. However, this drop in trip might be on the sharp side for the son of Balko and last-time-out winner PRINCE OF AIR may have his measure. A 68-day break seemed to work the oracle for Philip Rothwell's gelding when he won at Tramore and a 7lb rise looks workable. Mahlers Cove and Pana To Milan are also worth a second look.
