Formscan  - Kalium was purchased for 100,000 pounds shortly after winning a Killarney bumper by 19 lengths in May and he must enter calculations on his stable/hurdling debut for Tim Vaughan, but four-year-old filly LA MARQUISE gets the nod in receipt of weight. Twice a bumper scorer herself, and third in Grade 2 company at the Aintree Festival when last sighted, she clearly has plenty of ability and there seems no reason why she shouldn't take to this discipline. Jafimgoso, Stone's Throw and Oh My Johnny add further spice to the race.
