Formscan  - A commendable fifth in last year's Derby, The Foxes readily holds Military Order (last) on that Epsom form and appeals strongly on his all-weather debut. The Churchill colt sets the standard on official ratings and can go well if adapting to the surface on his return from a 155-day break. Claymore also comes into the reckoning after a second-placed finish in Listed company on Polytrack at Deauville in November. Nevertheless, when it comes to proven match-fitnesss and effectiveness on synthetics, BASE NOTE has fewer questions to answer than his likely main rivals and could provide a bit of value here.
