Formscan  - SAMOON STAR is arguably bred to win a Classic so it is no surprise she was able to take advantage of a mark of 60 on her handicap bow at Leicester. That represented a major step forward on what she had shown previously and she is fancied to progress again. Rose Branch performed too badly to be true when attempting to complete a Hamilton brace and she can't be written off yet, nor can Laura Bay, who couldn't supplement a Newbury triumph when upped to 1m4f at the same venue.
