Formscan By Gary Carson - Patrick Mullins nominated CADMIUM as his best bet of the week a few days ago and he looks hard to oppose here. The six-year-old looks a progressive sort and comes into the race off the back of beating a decent bunch of rivals at Roscommon in mid-June. He had really blossomed when running out a convincing winner of a Punchestown handicap in April and off an official mark of 147 sets a very good standard here. Mullins saddles four in the race and the mare Miss Sapphire is interesting getting a nice bit of weight. She looks sure to improve from her chasing debut at Limerick last month when she got on top in the closing stages after jumping a bit left over the last two. Classy hurdler Rashaan was beaten favourite on both his outings over fences in May but may be capable of stepping up with that experience under his belt.
