Formscan By Tom Weekes - TOWNSHEND failed to win from this rating at Killarney last month but might be worth another try today, dropping in trip. A useful if not star jumper, he seemed likely to win his race at Killarney entering the home straight before tiring and while he will encounter more testing ground today, should be fine with soft and looks the the type to win from his mark. He finished a head in front of Dasmyhoss at Killarney and while Dasmyhoss since went on to finish a good second in the Ladies Derby, he now meets TOWNSHEND 10lbs worse off than at Killarney. High Expectations is fit from hurdling and while he might not want the ground to turn heavy, did run well over course and distance last September and now competes from just 1lbs higher. Song Of The Sky comes here fit and well but might not be ahead of the handicapper while Happy Company is ground-versatile with his 5lbs rise for his recent Sligo win more than offset by today's useful 7lbs claimer.
