Formscan By Tom Weekes - EXCHANGE RATE has been afforded a second chance at a Galway festival win this week here and might be able to score. He unseated Ruby Walsh at the first flight on Tuesday when jinking left at that obstacle and while he obviously needs to jump fluently to win today, he had previously overcome trouble in-running to win at Wexford, is a previous course winner and is also a proven performer on soft ground. Stablemate Causey Arch won at this trip twice over hurdles at Sligo and Roscommon recently and while he has top weight to defy, comes here in excellent form and also also as a proven soft ground performer. Boot Camp's recent good form has been on a sound surface but has has run well enough on soft ground in the past and is another with obvious claims despite a defeat at Roscommon latest. Willie Mullins' other runners Calie Du Mesnil and Sapphire Lady are open to progression but step up from maiden company and appear third and fourth-strings for the yard while Awbeg Prince and Minella Times also step up from recent maiden hurdle wins and face tougher tasks today. Awayinthewest won her latest hurdle start, in a Ballinrobe handicap and cannot be totally dismissed. Eamon High was behind Causey Arch latest and is now 1lbs worse off for that 1.75L beating.
